•  Plan and deliver project-specific molecular biology and cell biology research tasks (hands-on work and delegation to assistants/technicians).
•  Design and development of innovative new in vitro preclinical R&D models, including cell-based assays, genetically modified celllines, stable and  transient  transfections/transductions.
• Testing the expression and function of designer GPCRs, signaling pathway analysis.
•  Design, screening and evaluation of mutant GPCR libraries.
• Analyze complex scientific questions via reviewing the available scientific andnon-scientific literature, synthetize data quickly and effectively, provide options for the  possible  solution of the issue.
•  Effectively work together with external experts, academic partners and CRO companies.
•  Regularly make presentations, reports to project-related meetings, etc.

•  PhD degree in medicine, pharmacology, biology, biomedical engineering, or other ina biomedical discipline.
•  Senior level: 3+ years of post-doctoral research experience in anacademic or industry setting in molecular life sciences.
•  Extensive knowledge and solid technical background in molecular and cell biology.
•  Hands-on experience in some of the following methodologies: advanced cloning methods,library design, fluorescence and luminescence-based  assays,immunocytochemistry, flow cytometry / FACS, or stable cell line generation.

•  5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D.
•  Expertise in structural biology, computational biology, andhigh-throughput data analysis.
•  Experience in working with integral membrane proteins (preferablyGPCRs).
•  Experience in working with primer neuronal cultures.
•  Experience in working with yeast.

• Strong interpersonal skills (e.g. delegation, negotiation, group-level planning, feedback, etc.) that support high performance across a multi- disciplinary team.
